Cultivable Command Area (CCA): The
area which can be irrigated from a scheme and is fit for cultivation.
Cultivable area: It consists of net
area sown, current fallow, fallow lands, other lands, current fallow,
culturable waste and land under miscellaneous tree crops.
Gross command area (GCA): The total area lying between drainage boundaries which can be commanded or irrigated by a canal system. G.C.A = C.C.A + unculturable area
